Job summary

CFS is partnering with a local organization in Madison to hire a Senior Credit Analyst who will join the team and help manage complex loan portfolios.

The role involves analyzing loans up to $30M+, reviewing documentation, mentoring junior staff, and supporting risk assessments across commercial credits. A degree in Finance/Accounting/Business is required, with an Associate degree welcomed, and 3+ years of financial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial analysis or financial services/credit experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships through communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new loans up to $30M+ and gather and analyze loan documentation.
• Oversee documentation, monitor and review member files and loan performance.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, leases, appraisals and credit reports to assess risk.
• Mentor Credit Analyst on the team and participate in file reviews of commercial credits.

Responsibilities Of The Senior Credit Analyst

• Analyze new loans for the organization ranging in size up to $30M +
• Gather and analyze loan documentation
• Oversee documentation, monitor and review member files and loan performance.
• Analyze statements such as tax returns, income statements, balance sheets, rent rolls, leases, appraisals, personal financial statements and credit reports to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
• Mentor Credit Analyst on team
• Complete risk ratings and file review of commercial credits when necessary.

Qualifications For The Senior Credit Analyst

• Bachelors degree; Finance, Accounting, Business; or related field
• Associate degree is welcomed
• 3+ Years of financial analysis or financial services/credit experience
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships by using appropriate communication skills.

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
