Responsibilities

• Provides direct technical and administrative supervision to employees in the VAMC's C&P Office.
• Ensures employees are delivering quality work compliant with regulatory requirements and VHA C&P policies.
• Identifies resources needed for the C&P program and oversees staffing, performance standards, and work assignments.
• Advises leadership on training needs and arranges development resources for staff.
• Consults with local leadership on Healthcare Professionals' C&P and scope of practice forms.
• Serves as the SME on credentialing and privileging matters including NPDB reporting and state licensing boards.
