Lucid Dream is a Durham-based creative studio delivering immersive simulations and XR experiences for life science and healthcare. We seek a project manager who can shepherd multi-disciplinary work from brief to delivery, aligning artists, designers, and developers with clients while ensuring quality and efficiency under deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of project management or production experience in a creative agency, digital agency, or creative production studio.
• Experience managing creative talent and deliverables for multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple client projects.
• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving requirements; know when to hold the line on scope.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Monday, Trello, or similar.
• Proactive attitude with attention to detail and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, partners, and internal teams, leading kickoffs, progress updates, and reviews.
• Facilitate clear communication and expectation alignment throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on strategy, objectives, and timelines.
• Enforce brand and style-guide adherence; vet typography, color, composition, and visual tone.
• Support creative leads on storyboards, concept art, and visual development reviews.
• Turn subjective feedback into actionable direction for artists, designers, and developers.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules with realistic deadlines.
• Break complex projects into clearly scoped tasks with defined owners and dependencies.
• Maintain momentum by tracking progress and protecting schedule and quality.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to stay on track.
