Job summary

Lucid Dream, a Durham-based creative studio, is seeking a skilled project manager to drive end-to-end production for XR and immersive experiences. You will lead briefs, align artists, designers, and developers, manage client relationships, and shepherd creative through rounds of feedback on schedule and budget.

The role prioritizes strong communication, organization, and production discipline. It is a hybrid position with three days in-office per week in Durham, NC, and two days remote.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of project management or production experience in a creative agency, digital agency, or creative production studio.
• Track record of managing creative talent and deliverables for multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple client projects at once.
• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving requirements: know when to hold the line on scope and when to flex.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Monday, Trello, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, partners, and internal teams, leading kickoffs, progress updates, and reviews.
• Facilitate clear communication and expectation alignment throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on strategy, project objectives, and deliverable timelines.
• Enforce brand and style guidelines, spotting inconsistencies before they reach the client.
• Support creative leads on storyboards, concept art, and visual development reviews.
