Job summary

U.S. Bank in Chicago seeks an experienced workout professional to lead the development and execution of resolution strategies for large, complex commercial real estate loans, including restructurings, forbearances, note sales, bankruptcies and asset dispositions.

You will negotiate repayment terms and coordinate with lenders to maximize recoveries. With 10–15 years in commercial lending and syndicated credits, you will mentor junior staff, provide guidance to internal partners on risk and credit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; Master degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in commercial lending and loan services.
• Expert knowledge of specialized lending, workouts and collections.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and execution of resolution strategies for large, complex CRE problem loans.
• Negotiates repayment agreements with borrowers and coordinates workout strategies with lenders.
• Manages bilateral and syndicated credits; may serve as Agent for syndicated facilities.
• Mentors junior workout professionals and advises internal partners on risk mitigation.
