Job summary

Nomura is seeking a CRE Middle Office Vice President in New York, NY. The role oversees warehouse lending and whole loan trading support, including daily trade flow, settlement, and reconciliation activities.

Expect long hours and collaboration with trading, legal, risk, and finance teams to ensure accurate cash movements and ledger postings. The role requires 4+ years in mortgage lending facilities, CRE exposure is a plus, and experience with Pro Merit, Loan IQ, and Alteryx.

Qualifications

4+ years supporting Mortgage Lending – Warehouse facilities.
Familiar with governing legal docs for Secured Lending facilities.
CRE exposure is a plus; team add for CRE product.
System experience – Pro Merit, Loan IQ, Alteryx.
Reconciliation and multi-tasking under tight deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication with trading, banking, legal and risk teams.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field.
10–12 hour working days.

Responsibilities

Warehouse daily trade flow management, booking and cash/wire movements.
Monthly remittance reconciliation, cash settlement and ledger posting, daily break management.
Whole Loan daily trade flow management, cash/wire movements, break management.
