Job summary

Old National Bank seeks an experienced CRE Underwriter / Portfolio Coordinator to manage an assigned portfolio's credit quality and monitoring. You will coordinate workflows, review analyst recommendations, and approve actions within delegated authority to maintain asset quality.

In this role you will partner with Relationship Managers, ensure policy compliance, and support portfolio growth while contributing to ongoing risk management and reporting efforts across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of commercial credit, underwriting, portfolio management, or lending experience.
• Strong financial statement analysis and credit risk evaluation.
• Working knowledge of commercial lending structures and regulatory expectations.
• Ability to make sound risk-based decisions and exercise independent credit judgment.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate financial analyses, annual reviews, covenant compliance assessments, and credit recommendations.
• Approve risk ratings, annual reviews, portfolio actions within authority limits; escalate complex matters.
• Identify emerging credit concerns and propose corrective actions and risk mitigation.
• Monitor borrower performance, compliance, reporting, and covenant obligations.
• Oversee analyst workflow, coach on financial analysis and portfolio management expectations.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit Officers to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
• Ensure portfolio activities comply with policies and regulatory requirements; support audits and reporting.
