Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking an experienced Sr. Operations Specialist/Officer to join our Commercial Real Estate Team in Hawaii.

The role supports loan documentation and closing packages in coordination with the CRED Loan Officer, under supervision of the Team Leader or Operations Officer. The candidate will ensure adherence to bank policies while delivering superior client service and will review construction draw requests for approval and fund disbursement.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5 years' experience in Commercial Banking operations and loan support, with emphasis on CRE and construction lending.
• 2 years' experience in commercial loan documentation.
• Familiarity with basic compliance rules, mortgage docs, LIEN laws, escrow, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for delivering complete, accurate loan documentation and closing packages.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies while delivering superior service to clients.
• Review and prepare construction draw requests for approval and disbursement of loan proceeds.
