Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join our Commercial Loan Center team in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will settle Participation loans with Agent/Participated institutions and enter and maintain loan data in the AFS system.

This role requires strong organization, accuracy, and the ability to balance ledgers for commercial loans. Monday–Friday 8:00AM–5:00PM with potential scheduling variations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' accounting experience required.
• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred.
• Experience in loan servicing preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial loan terms and documents.
• Working knowledge of the AFS and ALS loan servicing systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, organized Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join our Commercial Loan Center team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for settlement of Participation loans with Agent/Participated institutions and for entering and maintaining commercial loan data into the AFS system. Maintain and balance the Bank's General Ledgers for commercial loans.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this role is $19.25 - $24.00/hr; commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years' experience in accounting or related field required
• High school diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred
• Previous experience in loan servicing preferred
• Good understanding of commercial loan terms, loan programs and documents
• Working knowledge of the AFS and ALS loan servicing systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of employees
• Able to be discreet and tactful due to the confidentiality of various loan documents
• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Good time management skills
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Ability to type accurately with minimal errors
• Working knowledge of PC software including Word, Excel, Internet, etc.
• Proficient in use of 10-key adding machine
