Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist to prepare loan documentation and coordinate closings for commercial loans in Honolulu, HI. The role supports compliance with policies, laws, and regulations, while ensuring accurate, timely processing.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with potential variation. Requires a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1–2 years in banking or loan documentation, plus strong communication and multitasking

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
1-2 years’ experience in banking, title, loan documentation, and/or related experience preferred.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through.
Able to work under pressure.
Able to multitask and adhere to strict deadlines.
Good time management skills.
Able to work in a cooperative manner and be a team player.
Able to effectively analyze problems and demonstrate good judgment.
Available to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Preparing loan documentation and coordinating loan closing for commercial loans in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable governmental laws and regulations.
