Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking an experienced Sr. Operations Specialist/Officer to join our Commercial Real Estate Team in Hawaii. The role involves delivering accurate loan documentation and closing packages, ensuring policy compliance, and coordinating with the CRED Loan Officer and team leader.

Construction draw requests for loan proceeds are also reviewed and prepared. Qualified candidates will have an Associate's degree or equivalent, 5 years in commercial banking operations with loan

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of Commercial Banking operations experience with a focus on loan operations.
• 2 years of commercial loan documentation experience.
• Familiarity with basic compliance rules, mortgage documents, and loan agreements.
• Knowledge of CIP, BSA and AML policies.
• Notary license for Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for delivering loan documentation and closing packages with the CRED Loan Officer and team leadership.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies while delivering superior customer service to clients.
• Review and prepare construction draw requests for approval and disbursement of loan proceeds.
