BTG Pactual is expanding its U.S. commercial real estate credit platform in New York.

We are seeking an experienced originator who can independently source, structure and close CRE debt transactions while building strong sponsor and intermediary relationships. The role requires a proven track record of originating deals and a high level of credit judgment, with collaboration across underwriting, credit, legal and execution teams to bring opportunities to closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10–15 years CRE finance experience.
• Track record of personally originating and closing CRE debt transactions.
• Established U.S. sponsor/intermediary network.

Responsibilities

• Source CRE financing opportunities across U.S. markets through sponsors, developers and intermediaries.
• Develop and deepen sponsor relations to build a consistent deal pipeline.
• Screen opportunities for fit with investment mandate, assess sponsor quality and structures.
• Lead commercial discussions with borrowers on terms, pricing and negotiation.
• Partner with underwriting, credit, legal and execution teams to move transactions to closing.
• Present opportunities and rationale to senior management and investment committee.
• Maintain sponsor relationships through execution and after closing to support repeat transactions.
• Provide market intelligence on financing conditions and investment opportunities.
