Position Overview

We are expanding our team and seeking a Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Originator to source and structure debt financing, including permanent loans, bridge loans, and construction loans. We are looking for a proactive, self-driven Originator who takes full ownership of the deal. You will be responsible for bringing in deals, liaising with the client from the start of the deal all the way through to closing, and ensuring the client's questions and needs are addressed at every step. This is not a hand-off role. You own the position and the relationship.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively originate commercial real estate financing transactions or deals.
• Assess transaction strengths and weaknesses.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with developers, property owners, and third‑party originators to source high‑quality deals.
• Prescreen and qualify transactions or deal.
• Build and nurture relationships.
• Liaise with the client from the start of the deal through to closing, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring all client questions and needs are addressed.
• Engage with key market associations and professional organizations to drive referrals and establish the firm as a top‑tier service provider.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of capital markets experience in commercial real estate, preferably with a brokerage, investment bank, or principal lender.
• Proven track record of originating, underwriting, and structuring CRE debt/equity transactions.
