Job summary

Capital One is hiring a CRE RM Analyst in New York, NY to support a team of Relationship Managers and Underwriters in evaluating proposed multifamily loans for credit risk. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in multifamily or agency underwriting, strong communication, and proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High level of proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing commercial loan requests, reviewing market information, rent/sale comparables, cap rates, vacancy, trends to evaluate loan opportunities.
• Perform complex financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions and summarize data.
• Work with Relationship Managers to structure deals and present to Agencies for quotes.
• Review real estate documents (leases, loan docs, appraisals) to identify issues.
• Learn credit concepts and policy parameters; learn production analysis systems and software.
