Job summary

WaFd Bank is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst – CRE in Seattle to support underwriting of commercial real estate. You will gather data, analyze financials, and prepare credit submissions for portfolio management and loan approvals.

The role involves mentoring junior analysts, monitoring covenants, and presenting merits of credit requests to credit authorities. Strong CRE underwriting experience is required.

Qualifications

• Underwrite complex CRE projects including stabilization and development work.
• Analyze corporate and personal financial statements and tax returns.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with finance/credit exposure.
• 5+ years in commercial credit analysis or related roles.
• Proficient in MS Office and presenting credit narratives.

Responsibilities

• Gather data from clients and sources; prepare credit submissions.
• Analyze financials, conduct cash flow and collateral reviews.
• Monitor covenant compliance and portfolio management tasks.
• Support relationship managers and present credit requests for approvals.
• Mentor junior analysts and ensure regulatory compliance.
