Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking an experienced commercial lending professional to originate and service a broad portfolio of loans and lines of credit, including commercial real estate financing. You will interview applicants, assess credit quality, and structure financing within bank policies to support business growth.

Your role involves guiding junior staff, maintaining risk controls, and delivering solutions that meet customer needs while staying compliant with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of commercial lending experience (Commercial Real Estate) preferred.
• Strong credit skills and a track record of developing and closing new business.
• Ability to review and analyze financial data and documents for risk.

Responsibilities

• Develops and services a wide variety of secured and unsecured loans or lines of credit.
• Attend to the needs of customers seeking loans on terms involving significant unsecured funds or collateral.
• Interviews applicants to develop financial information to determine loan acceptability.
• Guides the credit department in developing and analyzing background data for loans.
• Makes loan decisions within established lending limits or makes recommendations to a supervisor.
• Follows current loans to ensure compliance with terms.
• Gives financial advice and counsel to customers.
