Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Commercial Lending Specialist to support the Lending Center with administrative duties, credit-related tasks, and loan documentation. The role involves coordinating documents, reviewing files, and assisting lenders while maintaining strong customer relations.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in commercial banking, proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to build financial reports. On-site role with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Commercial Banking experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.
• Ability to create financial and statistical tools and reports using Excel.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between Lending Center Manager, loan officers, attorneys, customers, and other areas within the Bank.
• Prepare documents for loan origination, renewals and closings, such as commitment letters and credit memos.
• Order and track documents required to complete loan files, including appraisals and ESA's when applicable.
• Review documentation against commitments and the credit memo.
• Assist in coordinating information sent to Credit department for analysis and spreads.
• Assist customers with various banking questions on a daily basis.
