Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group in Augusta, GA, is seeking an experienced Senior Technician to modernize and repair cranes. The role requires on-site work, on-call availability, and leadership of field technicians while liaising with management and customers.

You will troubleshoot, repair and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes at customer sites, perform inspections, and mentor junior technicians. A High School diploma is required, and travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years crane repair or 3-4 years electrical/mechanical experience as alternative.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background checks according to DISA.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call and provide after-hour services as required.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes at customer sites.
• Train and mentor field technicians and communicate with management.
• Perform OSHA crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate with service/branch managers daily.
