Job summary

Bigge Crane and Rigging in Gonzales, LA seeks a Crane Assembly/Disassembly Director to lead assembly and disassembly of lattice boom crawlers, telecrawlers and RTs. You will direct crews, coordinate with dispatchers and drivers, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires extensive crane knowledge, problem solving, and mentoring of junior A/D techs, with emphasis on OSHA safety standards and on-site training. Hybrid work arrangement with site travel.

Qualifications

• OSHA knowledge required.
• Extensive heavy lifting/hauling tech knowledge.
• Experience with multiple crane types and models.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly/disassembly of lattice boom crawlers, telecrawlers and RTs per manufacturer specs.
• Direct safety trainings, PPE, and Job Hazard Analyses on site.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, brokers and truck drivers for load out/offload.
• Inspect crane components prior to assembly and during maintenance.
• Mentor riggers and junior A/D technicians; ensure quality workmanship.
