Job summary

Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. seeks a Crane Assembly/Disassembly Director to lead the assembly and disassembly of diverse cranes, supervise crews, and coordinate loads with dispatchers, brokers, and drivers.

The role requires deep knowledge of crane assembly procedures, troubleshooting, and strong safety leadership. The candidate will ensure proper equipment, rigging, and positioning, while enforcing PPE compliance and Job Hazard Analyses across challenging job sites.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Detailed knowledge of heavy lifting and heavy hauling technologies (mobile cranes, platform trailers, beam and dolly trailers).
• Experience with multiple crane models: Liebherr, Link-Belt, Terex/American, Manitowoc, Kobelco.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble a wide variety of lattice boom crawlers, telecrawlers, and RTs per manufacturer specs.
• Ensure safety requirements, training, PPE, and Job Hazard Analyses on all crews.
• Lead lift planning discussions and define roles of site supervisor, LHE operator, user, and owner.
