Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ seeks a Clinical Research Associate to oversee performance and compliance for assigned protocols and sites, ensuring study conduct aligns with ICH/GCP, local laws, and company policies. You will manage sites, develop relationships, monitor data quality, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.

The role requires strong site management experience, fluent Spanish, and the ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally. Primary location: Rahway, NJ.

Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish speaking skills required.
• Associate’s degree, certificate or equivalent in a scientific/healthcare discipline with at least 7 years in healthcare, incl. 4 years direct site management monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree (or above) with at least 4 years direct site management experience in bio/pharma/CRO.

Responsibilities

• Develops strong site relationships and maintains continuity across trial phases.
• Performs site management/monitoring in line with ICH-GCP, SOPs, local laws, and protocol.
• Coordinates with sponsor roles to achieve Site Ready.
• Participates in site selection/validation activities.
• Performs remote and on-site monitoring and oversight using various tools.
• Collects and reviews regulatory documentation for startup, maintenance and close-out.
