Job summary

Haley Ward, Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Manager to lead QA activities for landfill construction projects.

You will implement and oversee CQA programs across multiple sites, coordinating with owners, engineers, contractors, and regulators to verify conformance with contract documents and project specifications. The role requires strong technical construction knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage subcontracted testing labs.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional engineering services, sitework, earthwork, landfill construction, or related environmental construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance inspections throughout landfill construction to ensure compliance with regulations and project specs.
• Implement QA processes to maintain construction quality standards.
• Collaborate with construction teams to address quality issues and guide corrective actions.
• Review plans, drawings, and specs to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
• Maintain records of inspection results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and improving QA programs to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Assist with construction progress meetings and report QA findings regularly.
• Assist with preparation of Final Construction Reports.
