Job summary

Haley Ward is seeking a Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Manager to lead QA for landfill construction projects and oversee CQA programs across multiple sites. The role involves coordinating with owners, project managers, engineers, and regulators, managing testing labs, and documenting inspections to ensure conformance with contract documents.

The position requires experience in environmental construction projects, strong QA knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed for site work.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional engineering services, sitework, earthwork, landfill construction, or related environmental construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Certifications in Soils and Geosynthetics (preference given to GCI-ICP)

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance inspections throughout the landfill construction process to ensure compliance with regulations and conformance with project specifications.
• Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to maintain construction quality standards.
• Collaborate with construction teams to address any quality issues and provide guidance on corrective actions.
• Review construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of quality inspection results and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and improvement of quality assurance programs to enhance construction quality and efficiency.
• Assist with construction progress meetings and report CQA findings on a regular basis.
• Assist with preparation of Final Construction Reports.
