Job summary

Apple Inc. in Santa Clara, CA invites an experienced CPU Logic Equivalence Check (LEC) Engineer to own the sign-off of Apple’s high‑performance CPU projects. You will develop and maintain verification flows and ensure rigorous functional verification across blocks and top levels.

The role requires a BS degree and 10+ years in RTL‑to‑gate formal verification with Conformal or Formality, plus expertise in TCL, Python, or Perl. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with RTL-to-gate formal verification tools (Conformal or Formality).
• Proficiency in TCL, Python, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the existing logical equivalence check flow.
• Run and sign off block and top-level equivalence checks, plus low-power and gate checks.
• Support design/CAD teams with verification runs and debugging.
• Collaborate with RTL/PD/DFT teams for custom verification solutions.
• Create scripts to automate verification runs and track results; partner with tool vendors.
