Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior CPU architect for high-performance, server-class processors. You will bridge architecture, RTL, and physical design, and lead power delivery, thermal, and packaging considerations across the stack. A strong track record in high-frequency CPU design and power optimization is required.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive CPU architecture and high-frequency server CPU design background.
  • Strong understanding of power dissipation, delivery and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of process technologies and circuit design.
  • Experience with advanced packaging techniques and stack tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge architecture, RTL implementation, and physical design.
  • Serve as SME on power delivery, regulators, power gating, di/dt and thermal throttling.
  • Analyze power trade-offs for die stacking and packaging proposals.
  • Propose improvements for high-frequency design and power methodology for custom CPU cores.
