Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to secure classified SCI/SAP programs and lead security documentation at the Los Angeles site.

You will implement PSIs and SCGs, and coordinate security with program managers and government reps to enable mission success. This onsite role requires TS clearance eligibility, SCIF/SAPF accreditation experience, and the ability to manage personnel security records, training, and incident response while maintaining

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and current investigation.
• 3–5 years of experience as a CPSO or equivalent in SCI/SAP environments.
• Knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), ICDs, and DoD SAP policy/directives.
• Experience managing SCIF and/or SAPF accreditation processes.
• Familiarity with personnel security systems such as DISS, NBIS, and SIMS.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to produce security documentation.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary security point of contact for SCI and SAP programs.
• Develop, implement, and maintain PSIs, SCGs, and program security documentation.
• Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and indoctrinations for personnel.
• Manage access rosters, visit requests, and security records for assigned programs.
• Coordinate with government security representatives and program managers.
