Bank of America is seeking a Senior Business Control Specialist to drive internal control discipline and operational excellence within the Chief People Organization (CPO). You will monitor, test, and report on controls, partnering with stakeholders to deliver robust risk reporting and remediation.

The role requires 5+ years in risk, compliance, or auditing, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to influence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 yrs in Risk, Compliance or Audit.
• Understanding of audit processes, GCOR and testing plans.
• Strong written communications for executive messaging.
• Discretion with confidential information and compliance focus.
• Ability to lead and influence across the organization.
• Self-starter with urgency and results focus.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving for process improvement.
• Strong project and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel lookups, pivots, formulas; PowerPoint.
• Familiar with AI/CoPilot prompts and Teams Channels.

• Coordinate QA reviews to improve performance and controls.
• Perform QA activities: run controls, manage cases, report results.

• Support regulatory exams, audits, and dashboard reporting.
