Job summary

Skidmore Studio is seeking an Account Director to partner with clients, project managers, and a top-tier creative team to drive value and growth. With a focus on CPG branding, this role demands strategic thinking, strong relationship management, and excellent presentation skills.

You will lead client meetings, plan sessions, and actively uncover opportunities to expand scopes of work while collaborating with a dynamic studio to deliver on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of agency experience in the CPG space.
• Client-facing and relationship-building in account management, planning, sales, or business development.
• Strong organizational skills with track record of managing multiple clients and projects.
• Excellent presentation and coordination abilities in conveying strategies and concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and growth of extraordinary client relationships; be the primary contact and lead strategic thinking, set expectations, and deliver compelling presentations.
• Lead client meetings, weekly check-ins, and account planning sessions with professionalism.
• Grow the business by uncovering opportunities and pitching recommendations to achieve client goals.
• Collaborate with business development to close new opportunities and define scopes of work.
• Coordinate with project managers, creative, and production teams to keep projects on time and budget.
• Contribute to brainstorms, ideation, and strategic planning for clients.
• Advocate for clients and manage conflicts to build trust and foster long-term partnerships.
