Confidential Employer seeks a Senior Accountant/CPA to lead financial reporting, audits, and process improvements in a fast-paced construction/real estate environment. This onsite role is based in Duluth, GA and offers a clear path toward Assistant Controller.

You will collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure GAAP compliance, drive accuracy across monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and strengthen accounting policies.

Qualifications

• CPA or CPA track desirable; public accounting background preferred.
• 4+ years accounting experience; construction/real estate industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support budget development and variance analysis.
• Assist in internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures.
