Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Training Developer/Instructor to support DOE-IN and CI training initiatives in the Washington, DC area. The role involves developing and delivering training modules on CI tradecraft, threats from foreign adversaries, and leadership development, with delivery in person and virtually.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• Graduate of FBI, DOD, or CI credentialing or equivalent training program.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in adult education, instructional design, geopolitical or national security studies, or STEM.
• Formal instructor training from a US Government agency or civilian program.
• At least 10 years of CI experience within the U.S. Intelligence Community.
• At least 2 years developing courses, training, or evaluating training programs.
• Broad understanding of global affairs and national security challenges.
• Strong oral communication, public speaking, instructional abilities, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and instruct training modules and courses on CI tradecraft, threats from foreign adversaries, and leadership development.
• Deliver training modules to groups in person and in virtual environments.
• Assist with coordinating attendance at external training courses and events.
• Analyze data and studies to determine training needs and priorities.
• Assess program effectiveness by collecting feedback and evaluating learning outcomes.
• Track attendance and generate reports with relevant metrics.
• Create visual aids to support training, including national CI Awareness materials.
