Qualifications

• J.D. and bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• 8+ years of substantial commercial transactions experience.
• Proven track record leading complex negotiations and advising senior stakeholders.
• Strong drafting and risk allocation skills.
• Ability to drive matters to completion with limited oversight.
• Credibility and discretion with business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead structuring, drafting, and negotiation of sophisticated commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, Finance to translate legal issues into commercial recommendations.
• Own legal strategy for high-value negotiations, including IP, data protection, indemnities, and remedies.
• Advise on commercial aspects of partnerships, products, and programs; coordinate regulatory and cross-border inputs.
• Improve contracting templates, playbooks, and escalation standards.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contract professionals; manage outside counsel when needed.
• Contribute to broader Legal team priorities and cross-functional risk management initiatives.

J.D. or equivalent law degree
