Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel with excellent communication and extensive contract drafting experience. The role focuses on independently handling commercial contract negotiations and providing strategic legal advice within the Legal department.

The candidate will work with internal stakeholders and business groups to mitigate risk and drive deals to completion, supporting sales and operations across a range of complex commercial agreements.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of legal practice, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of commercial laws and experience with multinational contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage commercial contract negotiations with strategic partners and customers.
• Advise internal clients on complex commercial transactions and mitigate legal risk with practical guidance.
• Support sales and operations on complex commercial agreements, including direct engagements and supply agreements.
• Review, draft, and negotiate vendor and supplier agreements in a complex supply chain.
• Develop and customize new agreements without templates.
• Apply sound business judgment to drive projects and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to close deals.
