Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a commercially minded attorney to support a broad range of customer, supplier, and partner transactions. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Product Management, Finance, Accounting, and other stakeholders, you will draft and negotiate agreements, help the business assess legal and commercial risks, and develop practical solutions that enable timely execution.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active state bar membership required.
• 2–5 years of relevant commercial transactional experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, solution-oriented with ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements including sales, procurement, distribution, OEM, licensing, support, services, and marketing.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Accounting to understand objectives and identify issues.
• Advise on core contract terms and risk allocation, including IP, warranties, indemnities, and data protection.
• Support contract execution and resolve routine matters; coordinate with subject-matter experts.
• Use and improve template agreements, playbooks, and approval processes for consistency.
• Provide training and practical guidance to business teams and contribute to legal projects.
