Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing of at least one state bar.
At least 5 years of attorney experience in a law firm, government, military judge advocate, or in-house counsel.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary legal counsel and subject matter expert for servicing initiatives and emerging technologies.
Partner with business leaders, Compliance, and Risk to assess and resolve legal, regulatory, and contractual risks.
Demonstrate sound judgment and understand business goals to provide practical legal advice.
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across Card Legal and risk partners.
Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to leadership and internal stakeholders to foster alignment.
