Winston Taylor LLP in Chicago seeks an experienced attorney to act as the Firm’s lawyer and advisor to management on legal matters and to help develop practices, guidelines, and policies ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international laws.

The role supports the Office of General Counsel and Conflicts/Intake, handles defense of claims, insurance procurement, and loss prevention, and collaborates with Finance on receivables.

Competenze

• JD degree required.
• 5+ years experience in law firm environment.
• Experience with professional responsibility matters and attorney ethics preferred.
• Litigation background preferred.
• Must live within commutable distance to a Chicago office (3-4 days/wk).

Mansioni

• Handle all aspects of defense of Firm’s and personnel’s interests in claims arising from work of Firm personnel.
• Procurement of professional liability and cyber insurance; assist personnel with insurance issues.
• Serve as primary contact with ALAS.
• Act as Loss Prevention Partner; advise on ethics and conflicts matters.
• Support attorneys and management in client/matter management and business issues.
• Work with Finance to manage and collect accounts receivable; assist with collection process.
