Job summary

NCR Voyix seeks a Senior Counsel – Retail to join our on-site legal team in Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX. You will partner with the Retail business to advise on commercial and technology matters, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and help scale contracting processes.

The role requires a JD, active U.S. bar, and 6+ years in commercial/ transactional law with technology exposure. Travel may be required as needed to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar in good standing.
• Experience advising on complex commercial agreements in a B2B environment.
• Knowledge of privacy, cybersecurity, and data protection matters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to business leaders on commercial and technology matters.
• Negotiate, draft, and review a wide variety of agreements including sales, services, software licensing, SaaS, partnerships, and integrations.
• Provide practical guidance on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and business strategy.
• Support contract managers with escalated legal and commercial issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and resources to improve efficiency.
• Build knowledge of NCR Voyix products, services, and industry landscape.
• Deliver training and education on legal and contracting topics.
