Job summary

NCR Voyix seeks a Senior Counsel – Retail to partner with the Retail business, guiding commercial and technology initiatives. The role involves negotiating complex agreements, drafting scalable templates, and advising on legal risk while aligning with business objectives.

This is an on-site position reporting to the Assistant General Counsel – Retail in a dynamic tech environment. Ideal candidates will have a JD from a U.S.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership.
• 6+ years of experience in commercial and transactional law with 3+ years in technology-related businesses.
• Experience negotiating and advising on complex commercial agreements in a B2B environment.
• Understanding of legal issues affecting technology companies, including privacy, cybersecurity and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted legal advisor to business leaders on commercial and technology matters.
• Negotiate, draft, and review sales, services, software licensing, SaaS, partnerships and other commercial agreements.
• Provide guidance on contract interpretation, risk assessment and business strategy.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and other resources to improve efficiency.
