This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial, technology, and strategic initiatives while serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders across the organization.The successful candidate will provide practical, business-focused legal guidance, negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements, develop scalable contracting processes and templates, and help identify and manage legal risk in support of business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys solving complex problems, building strong cross-functional relationships, and contributing to a fast-paced technology company.This is an individual contributor role reporting to the **Assistant General Counsel – Retail** and is based onsite in either our Atlanta, Georgia or Dallas, Texas office.### **Key Responsibilities*** Serve as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders on a broad range of commercial and technology-related matters.* Negotiate, draft, and review a wide variety of agreements, including sales, services, software licensing, SaaS, partnership, integration, and other commercial arrangements.* Provide practical guidance on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and business strategy.* Support contract managers by providing guidance on escalated legal and commercial issues.* Collaborate with teams across product management, product development, marketing, finance, pricing, and other business functions to support strategic initiatives.* Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and other resources that improve efficiency and consistency.* Build and maintain strong knowledge of NCR Voyix's products, services, business processes, and industry landscape.* Contribute to departmental initiatives, process improvements, and best-practice development.* Deliver training and educational sessions on legal and contracting topics.### **Qualifications*** Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership in good standing.* At least 6 years of experience in commercial and transactional law, including a minimum of 3 years supporting technology-related businesses.* Experience negotiating and advising on complex commercial agreements in a B2B environment.* Understanding of legal issues affecting technology companies.* Working knowledge of privacy, cybersecurity, and data protection matters.* Strong business judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.* Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.* Self-motivated, attention to detail, collaborative, and comfortable operating with independence.* Confidence interacting with customers, partners, executives, and cross-functional business teams.* Ability to work under short deadlines and outside normal working hours with minimal advance notice and minimal supervision; self-sufficient and independent;* Conceptual thinking in complex/completely new situations and ability to communicate ideas both internally and externally;* May require limited domestic and international travel; and* Confidence in client- and customer-facing situations, presenting a positive and professional image; excellent interpersonal skills.### **What Makes This Role Exciting*** Direct partnership with senior business leaders and key decision-makers.* Exposure to a wide variety of commercial, technology, product, and strategic matters.* Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a market-leading global technology company.* Collaborative and supportive legal team environment that values practical problem-solving and business partnership.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
