Job summary

NCR Voyix, a global technology company, is seeking a Senior Counsel – Retail to partner with the Retail business on a broad range of commercial and technology initiatives. The role involves drafting and negotiating complex agreements, developing scalable contracting processes, and advising business leaders to manage legal risk in a fast-paced environment.

Based onsite in Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX, this individual contributor position reports to the Assistant General Counsel – Retail and requires

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership.
• At least 6 years of experience in commercial and transactional law, including 3+ years supporting technology-related businesses.
• Experience negotiating and advising on complex commercial agreements in a B2B environment.
• Understanding of legal issues affecting technology companies.
• Strong business judgment and ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serves as trusted legal advisor to business leaders on commercial and technology matters.
• Negotiates, drafts, and reviews sales, services, software licensing, SaaS, partnership, and other agreements.
• Provides guidance on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and business strategy.
• Supports contract managers with escalated legal and commercial issues.
• Collaborates with product, marketing, finance, and other teams on strategic initiatives.
• Develops and maintains contract templates and playbooks.
