Cboe Global Markets in Chicago seeks an Assistant General Counsel to join the Legal Department and provide legal and regulatory support to its U.S. options business.

You will review and draft rules and rule filings to regulators, advise the options team, and collaborate with Compliance, Technology, Operations and Finance to navigate complex regulatory requirements.

This role rewards motivated, detail‑oriented attorneys who can learn quickly and contribute across the broader legal team.

Qualifications

• Juris doctor or equivalent law degree and bar admission in good standing.
• Experience in financial markets or regulatory environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Review and draft rules and rule filings to regulators.
• Provide legal and regulatory advice to the options business team.
• Steering rule changes through internal corporate and external regulators' review & approval processes.
• Provide legal support to other functions across Cboe, including Compliance, Regulatory, Technology, Operations, Risk, Public Policy, Billing, and Finance.
• Maintain high standards of legal and regulatory compliance and promote a culture of compliance.
