Job summary

Mastercard’s Privacy, Regulatory, and Technology team is seeking a Senior Counsel to serve as the primary legal lead for the Enterprise and Credit Risk (ECR) product family. You will collaborate with product, business, legal, regulatory, and technical stakeholders to translate evolving privacy and regulatory requirements into practical product development, data governance, and contracting terms.

Qualifications

• Requires JD and bar admission; strong privacy/data protection background.
• Experience advising on AI, data analytics, or regulated data uses.
• Ability to translate complex legal requirements into product and contracting terms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal lead for Mastercard's ECR portfolio.
• Advise product, business, and technical teams across the product lifecycle.
• Lead privacy by design and regulatory reviews for new products and data uses.
• Coordinate across jurisdictions to apply local credit risk, privacy, and AI requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with partners and customers.
