Job summary

Jobot in Sacramento, CA is seeking a seasoned labor and employment litigator to represent clients across a broad range of matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour issues, and wrongful termination. You will manage a complex caseload from inception to resolution, draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and participate in trials/arbitrations.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, is admitted to the Bar in good standing, and has 4+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar and in good standing.
• 4+ years of experience in labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour, class action, PAGA, and FEHA.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and wrongful termination.
• Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial/arbitration participation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality client service.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking and client meetings.
