Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Counsel in its Commercial & Innovation Law group in Houston, TX to provide transactional legal guidance across Hydrocarbons, Feedstocks and Energy & Climate businesses.

The role requires a JD or LLM, at least 4 years of in-house or corporate transactional experience, and U.S. work authorization. Commutable to Dow’s Houston office with a focus on collaboration and risk management.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or Master of Laws.
• A minimum of 4 years practicing as in-house counsel or as a corporate/commercial/transactional attorney.
• Admission to State Bar or eligible for admission.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel on transactional matters for Dow’s Hydrocarbons, Feedstocks and Energy & Climate businesses.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex agreements and protect Dow’s interests.
• Collaborate with global teams and manage outside counsel effectively.
• Support training and educate clients on risk mitigation and governance practices.
