Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking a senior lawyer to advise on day-to-day operations of non-nuclear generation assets along the East Coast and Midwest. You will partner with operations, commercial, engineering and asset management teams to navigate complex legal issues and develop practical business solutions.

The role requires a JD/LLB and at least 8 years of specialized legal experience, with strong written and verbal communication and familiarity with federal and state law.

Qualifications

• An LLB or JD and be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdictions.
• 8+ years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state law.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal legal advisor supporting day-to-day operations of non-nuclear generation assets on the East Coast and Midwest.
• Collaborate with operations, commercial, engineering, environmental, asset management and legal teams to manage risk.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on a broad range of complex operating agreements.
• Provide strategic legal support during outages, emergencies and major equipment events.
• Manage outside counsel and oversee regulatory matters related to PJM, ISO-NE and NYISO.
