Job summary

Zones, LLC is seeking a Corporate Attorney to act as a strategic legal advisor across commercial transactions, government contracting, and corporate matters. The role will draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements supporting both public and private sector engagements, including master services, SLAs, NDAs, and licensing arrangements.

The ideal candidate brings strong contract negotiation skills and deep knowledge of federal contracting requirements (FAR/DFARS).

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar admission.
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in tech/IT services or in-house.
• Experience with federal contracting, FAR/DFARS, and public sector contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated commercial and government contracts; advise on risk allocation and compliance.
• Support contracts with federal, state, local, and education sectors; manage RFPs and related documents.
• Provide guidance on representations, certifications, and flow-down provisions in public sector engagements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Operations and Compliance to mitigate risk and enable growth.
