Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Senior Counsel CHVAC to provide legal support to the CHVAC business segment. The role reports to the Associate General Counsel and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The candidate will draft, analyze, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, vendor and supplier agreements, and related documents while supporting global business strategy and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transactional corporate experience (law firm and/or in-house).
• Extensive drafting, reviewing and negotiation of commercial contracts.
• US bar license in good standing or eligibility to practice in Wisconsin (in-house).
• Experience implementing contract management tech preferred.
• Strong organization, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and related documents.
• Collaborate with global Legal team to support business strategy.
• Prepare memoranda, training materials, and other legal documents as needed.
• Assist business clients with commercial disputes and escalation to senior attorneys.
• Lead legal projects and promote adherence to procedures and policies.
• Analyze legal research and interpret contracts, policies, and laws.
• Work with internal and external partners to inform business decisions.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive project tasks to completion.
• Support other legal matters as assigned.
