Job summary

Talent Search Pro is seeking an accomplished California employment litigation attorney with at least eight years of experience who can independently manage sophisticated single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA matters from strategy through trial. This role requires leading complex litigation and serving as a trusted adviser to employer clients.

You will advise regional and Fortune 500 companies, lead hearings and negotiations, and shape outcomes on FEHA, wage/hour, and workplace compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of California employment litigation experience with independent management of complex matters.
• Experience leading single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA matters through all stages.
• Strong advisory relationship with clients ranging from regional firms to Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead single-plaintiff, class action, collective action and PAGA matters through all phases of litigation
• Collaborate with relationship partners to develop strategy and execute it
• Direct discovery, depositions, and work with expert witnesses on complex employment matters
• Draft and argue dispositive and other significant motions, including class certification
• Appear in court and represent clients at trial and in arbitration proceedings
• Lead settlement negotiations and mediations for employer clients on California labor and employment law matters

Flexible hybrid or fully remote work options available. The role is based out of the Los Angeles office at 707 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 5150, Los Angeles, CA 90017 but given this office team generally operates remotely, remote across CA is on the table.

What we're looking for:

We need an accomplished attorney with at least 8 years of California employment litigation experience who has a strong track record of independently managing sophisticated single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA matters. You should be comfortable leading complex litigation from strategy through trial and serving as a trusted advisor to clients ranging from regional businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Employer-side experience is preferred.

What you'll do:

• Lead single-plaintiff, class action, collective action, and PAGA matters through all phases of litigation, from inception through trial and arbitration
• Take ownership of case strategy and execution, collaborating closely with relationship partners to deliver exceptional client outcomes
• Direct discovery efforts, take and defend depositions, and work with expert witnesses on complex employment matters
• Draft and argue dispositive and other significant motions, including class certification and summary judgment
• Appear in court, represent clients at trial and in arbitration proceedings, and lead settlement negotiations and mediations
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employer clients across a range of industries on California labor and employment law matters, including FEHA-related claims, wage and hour issues, and workplace compliance
