You will advise on regulatory matters, draft and negotiate contracts, and help manage governance and risk at the senior leadership level.

This role requires a JD with bar membership, 5+ years in negotiation, and experience in energy or natural resources.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active bar membership required.
• 5+ years experience in contract negotiation and transactional law.
• Experience in energy, natural resources, or industrial materials industry.
• Strong track record supporting corporate governance.
• Ability to manage multiple complex legal projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel on operations, regulatory matters, and corporate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to finance, procurement, and project development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Advise senior leadership on risk mitigation, corporate governance, and strategic legal planning.
• Manage legal aspects of permitting and operational expansion.
• Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory agencies on complex legal issues.
• Conduct legal research and anticipate industry trends impacting company operations.
