Job summary

Omnissa, a leading AI-driven digital work platform, seeks an Assistant General Counsel and Director, Global Partner Program, to lead legal support for its worldwide partner ecosystem. Based in Atlanta, GA or remote in the USA, you will guide agreements, strategy, and compliance across distribution, resale, and MSP channels.

The role emphasizes strong drafting, negotiation, leadership, and strategic advisory skills, with opportunities to scale the partner team and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience practicing law
• Proven experience building channel partner programs and legal infrastructure
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong business judgment
• Demonstrated leadership presence and advisory capability
• Prior experience building/leading a partner legal team is a strong plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional relationship building
• Intellectual curiosity and sense of humor

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior legal advisor and primary escalation point for Omnissa’s worldwide channel partner programs across all routes to market.
• There is an opportunity to build and lead the partner legal team as the ecosystem scales.
• Own the strategy for scaling legal support of the partner ecosystem, including playbooks, templates, and contracting processes.
• Identify and lead initiatives to drive automation and AI-enabled workflows in the legal function.
• Manage drafting, review, and negotiation of complex channel partner agreements.
• Collaborate with partner business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align legal strategy with business goals.
• Review and maintain program terms for clarity, scalability, and enforceability.
• Provide risk-based guidance on partner ecosystem matters, including disputes and enforcement of terms.
• Coordinate with the broader legal team on cross-functional initiatives.
