Job summary

CoreWeave in the United States seeks a Senior Counsel, Cybersecurity & Incident Response to serve as a legal partner to Security and cross‑functional teams on cybersecurity preparedness, incident response, and regulatory compliance in a fast‑moving cloud infrastructure environment.

Reporting to the Senior Director & Lead Managing Counsel, Privacy, Regulatory & Compliance, you will provide real‑time legal guidance during incidents, help preserve privilege, assess notification obligations, and

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• Experience advising on cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, or cybersecurity regulatory matters.
• Strong drafting and communication skills with the ability to translate technical facts into legal guidance.
• Experience conducting privileged investigations and coordinating with outside counsel and law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice during cybersecurity incidents.
• Develop incident response governance, playbooks, and tabletop exercises.
• Coordinate with Security, Privacy, IT, Engineering, Product, Communications and leadership for legally sound decisions.
• Direct or support privileged investigations and engagement of external counsel.
• Assess notification requirements under cybersecurity, privacy, data breach, securities laws, and contractual obligations.
• Draft executive updates, customer/regulator notices, and law-enforcement communications.
• Advise on cybersecurity laws and enforcement trends and translate requirements into scalable controls and processes.
• Maintain incident response plans, legal playbooks, and training; lead post-incident reviews.
